BLACK DOVES HAS BEEN RENEWED FOR A SEASON 2 ON NETFLIX! Sorry, a little excited about this one. With the platform having a history of cancelling quite a number of my favorite shows, LOVE IT when something I enjoy makes it through the crucible for a renewal. And BLACK DOVES definitely falls within that.

But if you don’t know anything about the show? Well, BLACK DOVES is probably one of the best spy/thriller/action shows on Netflix this past year that you haven’t been watching. But specifically this series stars Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw in the principle roles, and a fantastic supporting cast to boot.
As for a breakdown for the series?
When Helen (Knightley), a spy posing as a politician’s wife, learns her lover has been murdered, Sam (Whisaw), an old assassin friend, joins her on a quest for truth — and vengeance.
