As THE WITCHER team promised, held tight yesterday, until today. And as expected, we’ve been treated to the first trailer for the upcoming season of the beloved show… and the last outing for Henry Cavill as our beloved Geralt. Check out the trailer below.
Definitely so many feels in this. First off, the trailer looks AWESOME! But really, was that ever in doubt? And of course super bummed that Cavill is leaving the role. And, not gonna lie, kinda annoyed they’re going to break season 3 into two parts… But I guess that’s to be expected, stretching out the season to pull in new subscribers for that Cavill love.
But yea, you heard that right, as you saw in the trailer, season 3 will be broken into 2 parts. It’s premiere on June 29th for volume 1, and volume 2 will hit Netflix on July 27th.
Man, not gonna lie though, with THE WITCHER team having dropped their cryptic tweet yesterday, part of me was REALLY HOPING they were all gonna be like, “JK KIDDING! Henry isn’t going anywhere!”. Sadly that didn’t come to pass. Haha.
