I’ve mentioned before it’s been a hot minute since I’ve been in gaming. But definitely aware of THE LAST OF US, even before the HBO announcement. Even have the first game on the PS3… though have yet to play it. Like I said, it’s been hot minute since I’ve picked up a controller! Haha.
But there’s some new casting news for the highly-anticipated HBO show, io9 is reporting that Anna Torv (MINDHUNTER, FRINGE) is joining the show! And I couldn’t be more excited!
As I haven’t dove into this world yet, io9 is stating that she’ll play Tess, who supposedly is Joel’s (Pedro Pascal) partner in crime before he heads out with Ellie (Bella Ramsey) to stop the zombie apocalypse. From the sound of things, looks like Tess creates some tension between Joel and Ellie, which should make for some interesting drama.
THE LAST OF US is currently filming in Canada and currently doesn’t have a release date.
