Netflix is serving up some Gunpowder Milkshake, and I CAN’T WAIT!
When I first heard about GUNPOWDER MILKSHAKE from Karen Gillan’s (who is part of the cast) social, I was instantly on-board. Then things went a little quiet about the movie. But more and more as details were released, all I wanted was this thing to come out!
As for the story itself? Here’s the write-up from io9:
The story follows Sam (Gillan), a woman abandoned by her mother Scarlet (Headey), a former assassin, who becomes a trained killer working for the company her mother left years ago. When one of her hit jobs doesn’t go as planned, Sam must unite with her mother and her mother’s former colleagues (Bassett, Yeoh, and Gugino), if she stands a chance of surviving.

GUNPOWDER MILKSHAKE is the latest in big moves by Netflix, most recently dropping half a billion dollars for KINVES OUT 2 & 3, as well as other upcoming releases like RED NOTICE starring Dewayne Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds. And from the sound of things the streaming giant is looking to make GUNPOWDER MILKSHAKE into a franchise as a sequel is already being planned.
GUNPOWDER MILKSHAKE is set to drop on Netflix this Summer.
