I don’t know when it happened, but Nic Cage has clearly become the KING of sci-fi/horror B-movies, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! The latest outing for the cult-favorite actor? He’s battling demonic animatronics in WILLY’S WONDERLAND. Check out the trailer below:
When his car breaks down, a quiet loner (Nic Cage) agrees to clean an abandoned family fun center in exchange for repairs. He soon finds himself waging war against possessed animatronic mascots while trapped inside Willy’s Wonderland.
Seriously, on the premise alone, I am ready for this movie! It’s funny, Alex Billington, over on First Showing, describing this as, “…seems to mocking Chuck E. Cheese.” Whether or not that’s the intent of the filmmakers, I REALLY kinda want to see if I can rent one to screen this when it drops! Haha.
WILLY’S WONDERLAND drops on VOD on February 12th.
