As we all wait for the final episodes EVER (WAAAHHHH!!!) for SUPERNATURAL to air, sounds like Dean Winchester’s first role, post Impala, has been revealed. Sounds like Ackles will be taking the role of Soldier Boy in Amazon’s THE BOYS Season 3.
Season 2 hasn’t even dropped yet. But those of you who dove in for Comic-Con@Home know, Amazon already greenlit a third season.
But those of you who don’t know THE BOYS was adapted to TV by Eric Kripke, the same man who created SUPERNATURAL, so definitely should be a fun team-up/reunion for the actor.
If you’re curious about Soldier Boy, according to Comicbook.com, sounds like this might be a new character altogether, being described as, “…the original superhero in THE BOYS mythos…”. I mean, that might mean he’s new, or the original hero. Either way, definitely stoked.
