Okay, granted, this is old news, but if you haven’t heard, the title for the sequel to Man of Steel has been announced. And it’s not, “Batman vs. Superman”, but it’s close enough. Hitting theatres next Summer?
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
Personally, with all the news of Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, even Cyborg rumored to make a cameo, and talk of WB and DC execs rushing to play catch-up with MARVEL’s cinematic universe… with a title like Dawn of JUSTICE, and the additional characters… this is sounding less and less like an actual sequel to Man of Steel and a prologue to a Justice League of America movie.
Now don’t get me wrong. I am so down for a JLA movie… But come on Warner Bros., don’t rush this shit. Take a que from MARVEL’s book, and build it film by film. Don’t rush it. You’ve been doing such a great job with the Nolan Batman movies, and Snyder’s Man of Steel… It’s a little worrisome you rush a JLA out the door, you’re gonna give us another Green Lantern.
And nobody wants to relive that shitshow.
But however this shakes out, I’ll definitely be in line… if not a little worried while I do it.
