You know, when I first heard about this movie, I was skeptical. But then more and more details starting coming in. Like LUC BESSON IS DIRECTING! Some of you may not think that’s a big deal, his name never really disappearing being attached to films like TAKEN, Columbiana, The Transporter, and more. But in those instances, only producing, writing, story development, or some combination of all three.
But this time he’s writing AND directing!
I know Besson has wrote and directed since The Fifth Element, but it really feels like it’s been that long. And I couldn’t be more excited! But his new movie, LUCY, promises sci-fi/femme fatale/action awesomeness that Luc Besson could only deliver. And with Scarlett Johansson in the title role, well that’s just the icing on the cake!
