So it’s funny, The Big Bang Theory was probably 3 or 4 seasons in, and I had never heard of it. But my fellow geek-loving friends kept telling me, “Holy shit, you haven’t seen it?!! You SHOULD! You would love it!”
So, I looked up the showtime, gave it a chance, and, well… I hated it.
I really hated it. I mean, I thought it made fun of all the stereotypes I was picked on growing up loving pop-culture with such insatiable passion. I mean, I really looked at it as sort-of the “geek” version of The Jersey Shore.
And I was done.
But I guess I gave it a second chance. And somewhere along the way, I fell in love with the show. And I can’t get enough of it. But, where am I going with all of this? Well, CBS recently announced that, whether you hate the show, or love it, it’s coming back next season.
But not just next season, it’s been renewed not for just one season, but THREE!
That’s right, The Big Bang Theory is coming back for 3 seasons, and that will take it into 10 seasons. And I couldn’t be more excited.
