Whether you saw the post-credits at the end of season 2 on THE MANDALORIAN finale, or heard it through the grapevine and pissed your pants, you know THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT is coming! And at long last friends, we finally got a trailer for the show! Check it out below!
“The Book of Boba Fett,” a thrilling Star Wars adventure teased in a surprise end-credit sequence following the Season 2 finale of “The Mandalorian,” finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.
“The Book of Boba Fett” stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson are the executive producers. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers, with John Bartnicki producing and John Hampian as co-producer.
I am beyond excited for this. Not only for the expansion of Jon Favreau & Dave Filoni’s part of the STAR WARS universe, but super excited for Temuera Morrison (Boba Fett). The STAR WARS prequels have definitely been divisive among fans, and that split probably didn’t blow up anyone’s careers involved with the movies. But being cast as Jango Fett, knowing the canon that you’re essentially the fan-favorite bounty hunter, Boba Fett, definitely something to geek out over if you’re Morrison. And to finally have that moment come to pass to take on that role, especially under the guidance of Favreau and Filoni, TOO COOL for words. So definitely excited for him, and can’t wait to see this show.
But speaking of the show, the trailer doesn’t give us much. But it’s clear that Boba Fett has his sights on organizing the crime in the galaxy into his own little empire. But despite the lack of details, seeing Boba & Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) kick some ass, I’m sold.

THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT hits Disney+ on December 29th.
