Koreaboo is reporting that the horror K-Drama, SWEET HOME, is getting a season 2! They’re reporting that the streamer has the next season in development, and the original cast all expected to return. Season 2 is expected in 2022, with filming anticipated to begin later this year.
The first season was released in December 2020 and quickly became one of the streamer’s most popular series, both in Korea and globally.
Personally can’t wait for a season 2 to hit. The first season was a glorious paranormal gore-fest, something akin to the video games SILENT HILL and RESIDENT EVIL (DEFINITELY not their live-action counterparts). And the cliffhanger the season ended on? Definitely would love to see where this goes.
SWEET HOME season 1 is currently streaming on Netflix.
