MovieWeb is reporting that PENINSULA, the sequel to the runaway hit, TRAIN TO BUSAN, will hit theatres on August 7th. It’ll definitely be curious to see what business in cities, not only theatres, will be like just a month away amid the coronavirus. But for those you on Shudder, you’re in luck, because if you’re not ready to head back to theatres, the streaming service has the exclusive streaming rights to PENINSULA. So you’ll be good to go!
Plot details seem to have been scarce about the upcoming movie, but looks like we have some details. Quoted from MovieWeb:
Peninsula centers on Jung-seok, a soldier who previously escaped the diseased wasteland. He is forced to relive the horror when a covert assignment is handed to him. The mission comes with two simple objectives: retrieve and survive. When his team unexpectedly encounters survivors, their lives will depend on whether the best, or worst, of human nature prevails in dire circumstances.
So what do you think? As theatres reopen, will PENINSULA get you in the theatre? Drop your thoughts on the Fuzzybug Facebook Page today!
