So it’s no secret that the upcoming live-action adaptation of GHOST IN THE SHELL has been under fire for the latest episode of whitewashing in Hollywood. Well, looks like the Studios are definitely conscious of this because the UK arm of Paramount has released the first 5 minutes over Twitter.

What did you think?
For me? Now, I’ve said it before on this blog, being an Asian-American, I’m okay with the casting in this movie. I won’t get into the hows and whys I’m okay with it. I already wrote about it. BUT casting aside? I’m a little worried, let me tell you why…
See, my birthday is coming up. Why do I mention that? Well, typically, any movie that I’ve been excited for that’s come out on or around my birthday has typically SUCKED.
And though there looks to be some awesome action in the clip, and some awesome effects too… just something about it makes me a little worried that it’s gonna suck. I hope I’m wrong. I realize I’m seeing this clip at a fraction of what it’ll be on screen, and I’m gonna go see it… BUT definitely a little worried now.
BUT what did you think? Let me know over Twitter @FUZZBUG12
GHOST IN THE SHELL opens on March 31st.
