Now, as I write this, let me just say I don&#8217;t consider myself some kind of deep, intellectual person that can spot patterns in the chaos, and things of the like.<\/p>\n<p>That said, much like BATMAN V SUPERMAN, I kind of feel like I&#8217;ve seen BEYOND in the trailers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WARNING: Before continuing, you&#8217;re proceeding knowing you risk having an idea of the movie planted in your brain dome! PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK!<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Still here? EXCELLENT!<\/p>\n<p>So where was I? That&#8217;s right, movies in trailers! See, too often like I&#8217;ve seen the movie in trailers, and really leaves me with little to no motivation to see the movie. I used the upcoming sequel as an example. Let me see if I can break it down. But before that, a trailer for reference:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bzD8H6o1awQ\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>So what did we get out of this?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Like the previous 2 installments of this reboot, a Kirk with an issue to overcome.<\/li>\n<li>A destroyed Enterprise.<\/li>\n<li>A shot of, what looks to be, an NX Class Federation Starship (Remember the ENTERPRISE TV show? The one with the cheesy-ass ballad as the opening theme.)<\/li>\n<li>Battle on an alien planet.<\/li>\n<li>Battle on Earth.<\/li>\n<li>Bones and Kirk looking up, and Bones stating, &#8220;You really want to go back out there.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So here&#8217;s where I&#8217;m thinking this movie is gonna go:<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Enterprise is currently in the middle of it&#8217;s 5 year mission, and Kirk is lost as far as far as &#8220;who&#8221; he is in the universe. They&#8217;re attacked by the villain, played by Idris Elba. The Enterprise is destroyed, and the surviving crew is enslaved in some kind of internment camp.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Villain undoubtedly makes a claim to destroy Earth, or at least the Federation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>On the planet, they find an NX Class Starship, and the crew goes after Idris.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Battle on Earth ensues.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Good guys win.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Around the end, Bones and Kirk are looking up at a new Enterprise, and Bones asks, &#8220;So you really want to go back out there&#8230;&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>And of course, like to previous 2 installments of the reboot, Kirk finds his reason for being somewhere in there, and some meaning to be human too&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>So yea, that&#8217;s pretty much how I see this thing playing out. I hope I&#8217;m wrong. But of course, wrong or right, I&#8217;ll still be there to see the movie. But if I&#8217;m right?
