Okay, so based on the hero image for this post, I guess you can imagine where I\u2019m going to start this article. That said, EDGE OF TOMORROW<\/a><\/strong>, despite it\u2019s weird marketing, like retitling it, then retitling it back\u2026 is definitely one of my favorite sci-fi movies, let alone Tom Cruise movies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But that said, I have to say it\u2019s really been annoying to keep seeing more and more posts stating that while there has been no movement on a sequel, after 12 years, EDGE OF TOMORROW is getting a remake\u2026 And that\u2019s so not the case!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you did didn\u2019t know, EDGE OF TOMORROW was adapted from the Japanese novel, ALL YOU NEED IS KILL<\/a><\/strong>. And the remake everyone is talking about is a new anime adaptation <\/em>of the novel, not the movie, aptly titled, what else, ALL YOU NEED IS KILL<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
