SQUID GAME. You know it, you potentially love it, and it\u2019s been named Netflix\u2019s most watched show in its history. Since its premiere, people have been wondering if the show will get a season 2. It ended in a fashion to where another season could definitely continue the story. And there\u2019s definitely been the viewership that goes above and beyond Netflix\u2019s benchmarks to merit another season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But will another season happen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SQUID GAME creator, Hwang Dong-hyuk, had talked about that he has ideas about another season, but weren\u2019t well developed. Additionally, he talked about whether or not another season happens, he wanted to take some time off. If you hadn\u2019t heard, he lost 6 teeth during season 1 production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for a season 2? I have great news friends, A SEASON 2 IS HAPPENING!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Variety reported that Hwang confirmed to AP at a SQUID GAME screening in LA that a season 2 is coming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s been so much pressure, so much demand and so much love for a second season. So I almost feel like you leave us no choice! But I will say there will indeed be a second season.
