Like the headline says, find myself randomly and fondly thinking about BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES<\/a>. I mean the show itself was a big part of me being a kid\u2026 well, it came out in \u201992, so just getting into high school? Meh, still a kid. But yea, loved this show growing up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But why am I thinking about it now?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, Entertainment Earth<\/a> posted a prop replica of Batman\u2019s grapnel launcher, and it\u2019s GLORIOUS! Check it out below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safe to say, memories of the show came rushing back when I saw this! Though one episode sticks out in particular, ROBIN\u2019S RECKONING PART 1, directed by Kevin Altieri<\/a>. Yes, after all these years later, still remember the episode. Specifically, there was a moment in the episode where Batman is trying to get away from a situation, and I remember the lines, blacks and colors were so vibrant, definitely an elevated version of what the show could be, as opposed to the standard muted colors of the show as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tried to find a screengrab of the episode, which, as I write this, I guess I could\u2019ve snapped a pic off of HBO Max\u2026 but even still\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Definitely doesn\u2019t do my memory justice, but I think you get the idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
