The third feature film from director Chlo\u00e9 Zhao, NOMADLAND features real nomads Linda May, Swankie and Bob Wells as Fern\u2019s mentors and comrades in her exploration through the vast landscape of the American West.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Admittingly, this trailer was a little confusing for me. While, overall, was a very touching snippet to the movie, going into it as being introduced to it, parts of the trailer definitely felt like a documentary. Diving a little deeper into it, <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3mXTXue\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NOMADLAND<\/a> was inspired by a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3mXTXue\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">book<\/a>, of the same name, by Jessica Bruder. The book itself has been classified as a social sciences book and that definitely explained that \u201cdocumentary\u201d feeling as the movie employs a number of real-life nomads in the picture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With that, I found this project to be even more inspiring. Not only do I think that if people give this movie a look, because let\u2019s be honest, these days, if it\u2019s not a big tent-pole picture, not many people come out\u2026 but yea, I think if people give this movie a look, I think it\u2019ll definitely resonate with them. Based on the trailer, I feel like this is the kind of movie we need in the world we\u2019re in, finding peace and a way through in incredible hardship. But crafting a narrative for a movie from a social sciences book, well, that just seems like a testament to creativity to me. And adds truth that you never know where inspiration will come from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And I just find that to be a beautiful thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personally, I am really looking forward to seeing this movie.
