Despite THE BIG BANG THEORY being a ratings success for 11 years. Not only in ratings, but awards as well. The common consensus on the internet is that it’s not a great show. I am however not in that camp, I quite enjoy the show, and as you may have heard, the show is coming to an end.<\/p>\n
Admittingly I wasn’t always a fan of the show. I was even a little late to the game actually. It was a few seasons in before I even heard of it. But a friend asked me if I watched it, and when I told him, “no”, he was all, “DUDE! YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT! IT’S SO GOOD!”<\/p>\n
So with an endorsement like that, how could I not?<\/p>\n
So I gave it a try.<\/p>\n
And I hated it.<\/p>\n
It was like every bad joke and stereotype of fans of pop-culture rolled up in a bad comedy. It was like THE JERSEY SHORE of geeks. And, yea, I definitely wasn’t a fan.<\/p>\n
But somewhere along the way, I really fell for this show, hard. Sure those stereotypes are still there. But somewhere I started relating to the interactions & stories with the main cast, and I definitely look forward to this show every week.<\/p>\n
So when the news came that the upcoming 12th season would be it’s last? Yea, even with blogs celebrating it’s end, I was definitely bummed.<\/p>\n
BIG BANG THEORY, we have had a rough start together. But we worked through it, and I’m definitely gonna miss you. Looking forward to seeing what you got for your send off.<\/p>\n
