BUT if you’re still here, well, let me just say that GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 is FUCKING AWESOME!<\/p>\n
Really, that’s pretty much it in a nutshell. It’s everything you loved from the first one: the action, the wit, the music, just the overall fun, but this time, it’s BIGGER! And though, sometimes\u00a0bigger\u00a0<\/em>in movies is not necessarily a good thing. But it works so well here.<\/p>\n What I love here is that nothing was lost from the first movie. VOL. 2 just built on everything I loved, and gave me more. Baby Groot without a doubt stole the show. But I think we all knew that was going to happen, haha. But for me, sequels rarely meet the original, but James Gunn definitely hits that mark, and quite possibly made a sequel better than the original. And I personally don’t think that’s an easy feat.<\/p>\n And just for personal giggles, both as a comic fan, and a child of the ’80s, loved actually catching some of the Easter Eggs this time out, and LOVED the overall vibe of the movie.<\/p>\n If you’re a child of the ’80s too? You’ll see what I mean.<\/p>\n So pretty much, if you loved the first one? You’re gonna love VOL. 2. Never saw the first one? But you’re looking for a fun ride?
