HOLY SHIT! You’ve probably already heard, but sounds like fan favorite Joss Whedon is coming to the DC EXTENDED UNIVERSE! As for what Joss Whedon will be doing? Sounds like our Geek God will be writing, producing, and DIRECTING a BATGIRL movie for Warner Bros. and DC Films!<\/p>\n
I can’t tell you how excited I am for this! I mean, it’s no secret that the majority of us pretty much feel the DC movies have more or less sucked so far. Though I am cautiously interested for JUSTICE LEAGUE and WONDER WOMAN, yea, typically the movies have sucked.<\/p>\n
Though Warner Bros. and DC Films seem to have been making moves to correct the course of their movies, most notably making Geoff Johns in charge of the creative direction of their movies. Adding Joss Whedon as a filmmaker for their movies, I can’t wait to see what this means for the DC movies. I mean, in addition to creating amazing stories with strong female leads, it’s no secret the man is an amazing writer and director. And with that,\u00a0beyond BATGIRL, though no word, I really hope Joss signs on to help craft the DC Cinematic Universe, much in the same way he did for Marvel.<\/p>\n
But that’s just a hope right now.<\/p>\n
