Supposedly first in the studio&#8217;s efforts to create a shared universe for their library of Hollywood monsters.<\/p>\n<p>Check out the trailer below.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IjHgzkQM2Sg\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Tom Cruise headlines a spectacular, all-new cinematic version of the legend that has fascinated cultures all over the world since the dawn of civilization: The Mummy.<\/p>\n<p>Thought safely entombed in a tomb deep beneath the unforgiving desert, an ancient princess (Sofia Boutella of Kingsman: The Secret Service and Star Trek Beyond) whose destiny was unjustly taken from her is awakened in our current day, bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia and terrors that defy human comprehension.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Now I gotta say, I&#8217;ve always enjoyed Tom Cruise&#8217;s movies. Not that any of them were exceptionally deep by any means, but definitely always fun.<\/p>\n<p>But, I don&#8217;t know what it is, this trailer just doesn&#8217;t get me excited about the movie.
