Call it “smart”, “high-brow”, but when something like WESTWORLD comes along, it’s not for everyone. BUT I LOVE IT! And I’m sure the majority of HBO subscribers (and GO login borrowers) are too! That’s why I was SO stoked to hear the thoughts behind creators & showrunners, Jonathan Nolan & Lisa Joy, for the finale.<\/p>\n

In an interview with EW<\/a><\/strong>, they stated that all questions would be answered but one…<\/p>\n

From Nolan…<\/p>\n

We weren\u2019t interested in spinning out mysteries with no answers in sight…<\/p>\n

Our goal is to tell an ambitious story in season-long chapters, each with a distinct feel and theme.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Lisa Joy added…<\/p>\n

Most of the questions viewers have will be resolved in the final episodes, except for the most important one: What happens next.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And I have to say I absolutely LOVE those statements! This first season has been incredible, and I can’t WAIT to see how it ends! And knowing that all my questions about this world will be answered, with the exception of where they’ll go in season 2? That is definitely the best way to treat your audience.<\/p>\n

The WESTWORLD finale is this Sunday, and will be a 90-minute super-sized episode! And I personally will be off the grid when it happens!<\/p>\n
