Well, while we wait for Batman to come back in the next Man of Steel movie, looks like FOX is gonna keep us hungry for that world with a direct-to-series order for Gotham.
Reportedly this will be more of a prequel to the whole Batman mythology, focusing on the city, and specifically everyone’s favorite cop, Jim Gordan. So don’t expect Bats to show up anytime soon in the series. But still, this sounds pretty awesome.
Congratulations to all the Emmy winners last night. And for those of you who missed the show, I give you the, you knew it was gonna happen, obligatory, song and dance number from host, Neil Patrick Harris.
Katy Perry took the stage for Comedy Central’s benefit Night of Too Many Stars benefiting autism. But Perry didn’t take center stage, that honor went to Jodi DiPiazza, an autistic girl who made a breakthrough through music. Jodi joined Perry on “Firework”, playing piano and singing with Perry in front of a huge audience at New York City’s Beacon Theatre.
The special airs on Comedy Central on October 21st.
Well here’s the skinny the group, Daft Punk was scheduled to appear on the fan-favorite talk show, The Colbert Report, as part of their, the anti-establishment, convention-destroying rock and roll ethos brought to you by Hyundai series.
But the mad-beat duo had to cancel at the last minute due to a contract commitment they had with MTV. So in true Colbert fashion, he figured something out.
As pretty much all of you know, Matt Smith is leaving Doctor Who, with the annual Christmas episode being his last outing. And this personally breaks my heart, as even though I came into Who late, towards the tail end of David Tennant’s run, Matt Smith’s take on the Doctor has been spectacular! And it’s going to be hard to imagine the role without him behind it…
BUT I’m getting off track. Matt Smith has a message for you as he says goodbye, and even moreso, thank you.
Doing our best to give you that Geek-Love rash from the interwebs!
