Some New Details on that STAR WARS TV Show!

We’ve been teased with a STAR WARS TV show long before Disney acquired Lucasfilm. Ultimately ending with Rick McCallum stating that it would be too expensive to make. Recently we got some exciting news that fan favorite director, Jon Favreau, would be spearheading a series for Lucasfilm.

Well kids, we got some news on the forthcoming show!

At the recent premiere for SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY, the director was asked about the show, and it sounds like it’ll take place “in timeline”.

What does that mean? Well simply the series will take place 7 years after the Battle of Endor, and will be set firmly between THE RETURN OF THE JEDI, and THE FORCE AWAKENS.

And to build on that, the director stated the show will feature all-new characters, because, come on, toys! Haha. But sounds like the show may chronicle the fall of the Empire, and the rise of the First Order.

No release date as of yet, but I have to imagine that this will hit Disney’s forthcoming streaming service with is set to arrive sometime next year.
