Honestly, I debated writing a review for DOCTOR STRANGE, cause let’s be honest, MARVEL is pretty much just printing money at the box-office these days. So no matter what people write, chances are, you’re gonna see it. Cause, well, it’s MARVEL, and you’re curious.
Hey, no shame in the game.
But I saw it opening night, and the auditorium was at less than half capacity… so maybe a review is warranted?
Chances are by now, other movie sites have posted reviews you’ve read, so I won’t get super esoteric on you, I’ll just break it down to simply…
- Generic origin story – think IRON MAN, but with magic.
- Crazy visuals
- FUN AS HELL!
So in a nutshell, so worth the price of admission.
But as with any MARVEL movie, I’m sure you’re wondering if there are any post-credits scenes. And yes, there are two! One is mid-way through the credits, you know after the whole animated credits, and before the scroll starts. And there’s a bit at the very end of it all.
I won’t elaborate as to what they are. I mean, where’s the fun in that?
Other than that? If you can swing it, DEFINITELY see this one in IMAX 3D.
